DNA methylation variation and demethylation effects in rotifers.
Andrew's project asks how DNA methylation varies across bdelloid rotifer lineages, and what happens to transposon control when that methylation is chemically removed. He is interested in epigenetic inheritance and in computational approaches to comparative genomics.
